Refreshing Fruit and Herb Lemonades for Summer

Blackberry Mint Lemonade
Blackberry Mint Simple Syrup
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1 ½ cup of fresh or frozen chopped blackberries
⅓ cup of finely chopped fresh mint
Instructions:
Bring blackberries, mint, water, and sugar to a boil.
Reduce the heat, and allow the mixture to simmer for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from the heat, and strain the blackberries and mint from the simple syrup.
Allow the syrup to cool for at least an hour before serving.

Ingredients:
1 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ cup blackberry mint simple syrup
¼ cup of fresh blackberries
2 sprigs of mints
Instructions:
Using a pestle, pummel the blackberries and mint until well combined.
Add water, lemon juice, and blackberry mint simple syrup, and mix.
Serve chilled with ice.
Strawberry Basil Lemonade
Strawberry Basil Simple Syrup
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1 ½ cups fresh or frozen strawberries
⅓ cup fresh, finely chopped basil
Instructions:
Bring the water, strawberries, basil, and sugar to a boil.
Reduce the heat, and allow the mixture to simmer for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from the heat, and strain the strawberries and basil from the simple syrup.
Allow the simple syrup to cool for at least an hour before serving.

Lychee-Ginger Lemonade
Lychee-ginger simple syrup
Ingredients:
½ cup water
½ cup granulated sugar
1 cup fresh, pitted lychee
2 teaspoons grated ginger
Instructions:
Bring the lychee, ginger, water, and sugar to a boil.
Reduce the mixture to a simmer, and allow to simmer for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from the heat, and strain the lychee and ginger from the simple syrup.
Allow the simple syrup to cool for at least an hour before serving.
